Brushstrokes
of the Artist ™ is a unique series of art reproductions and details
highlighting the techniques and special effects of eight artists.
This product can have your students painting masterwork detail in
the first lesson, by learning the basic strokes of the Master
Artists, as defined in our 48 page Teachers Resource Guide, which is
included in this kit. Brushstrokes Of The Artist ™; is designed to
inspire imagination and creativity, and as Albert Einstein said
"Imagination is more important than knowledge".

This educational package examines the works of four Australian
artists - Arthur Boyd,
Ethel Carrick Fox,
John Perceval,
Margaret Preston, and - and four European artists -Vincent
Van Gogh,
Edouard Manet,
Claude Monet , and
Gustav Klimt.
This kit includes 16 large, high quality laminated reproductions of
8 paintings and details from each of these artworks. Also included
with this astonishing package are postcard sized reproductions for
each individual student, up to 20 students, and a Teacher's Resource
guide. "THIS IS A REUSABLE KIT".
Teachers will receive a Resource Guide with a clearly structured,
comprehensive range of questions and activities focusing on the
content and ideas of the artwork and the
technique and style of the artist. Related practical activities
and further investigations are also suggested. It focuses on the
artists and their artworks and is designed to enhance learning and
teaching in the art program. Included in the curriculum is a
glossary located in the back of the book, which introduces art terms
and encourages the students to use this vocabulary and have a
complete understanding of the words.
Students will be encouraged to examine the influences of the artist
and the ways that artworks are made in a particular cultural and
historical context. They learn about the art pieces in full depth
and it also allows them to use their imagination. The high quality
detail of the artwork captures all the different colors, textures
and the unique painting styles of each individual artist.

Brushstrokes Educational Resource is a user friendly kit for use in
primary and secondary schools as well as in senior secondary and
tertiary courses, and gives teachers maximum flexibility in program

education. From the above mentioned artists, the libraries/and or
museums, have given permission to "Brushstrokes of the Artist" to
use the art reproductions for educational purposes for this art
educational program, therefore royalties are paid to the above
mentioned affiliations for each featured artist.
*Each kit is large enough for 20 students at a
time, but these kits can be used over and over again for each
new class as they are of high quality, therefore making them
REUSEABLE FOR EACH NEW CLASS.
* Each class takes (approximately) 1 and a half
hours for each artist, and there are 8 artists featured. This would
be a 12 hour course. Suggestions... one featured artist per
class/day.
